The Ronald McDonald House of Springfield is in the final stages of completing the demolition and construction of its 21 bedroom house that has served more than 12,000 families since opening its doors in 1991.
“We are deeply grateful to the Antonacci Family for their support of this special project” stated Michelle D’Amore, Executive Director of RMHC CT MA. “This gift will truly make a difference for our children and their families who will need our “home away from away” while being treated at our local hospitals. They will now have new furnishings, updated bathrooms to accommodate new handicap accessible appliances, new fixtures and refinished walls.”
Frank Antonacci indicated the importance of his Company and Foundation to give back to community causes that work diligently every day in their mission to help those in need. “We are delighted to support the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield. We enjoyed our first-hand experience of visiting the House. The families that reside there must feel the amazing love and hospitality that we felt throughout our visit. Keep up the great work.”
Ronald McDonald Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child—not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they lay their head to rest.
Every day, families face the challenge of having a child in the hospital, and your generosity helps Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts keep them together. Learn more about our programs and join our community of supporters.
