Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts!
Imagine a world in which all children were loved and not a single child was disadvantaged, ill, abused, disabled, or homeless. It’s the kind of world we all dream about. Through our initiatives and programs, we are working to make that vision a reality.
Scholarships Available for High School Students
Each year the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CT & W.MA makes college dreams come true by awarding a total of $50,000 in scholarship funds to local high school students.
We have funds specifically available for students of Hispanic descent via the RMHC HACER Scholarship, as well as funds for any student (regardless of race or ethnicity) via the RMHC Scholars Scholarship.
The application deadline is January 27, 2012. Learn more HERE.
How the Chapter Can Help You
We award grants to local non-profit organizations that help children. We distribute funds for education, health care and medical research, and civil and social services.
How You Can Help the Chapter
We receive funding from fundraisers, change dropped in McDonald’s in-store donation boxes, portions of Happy Meal® sales, and generous individual donations.
