Ronald McDonald House of Springfield

When children are sick and being treated at Springfield area medical facilities, the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, MA® is a welcome “home away from home” for children and their families.  A dedicated group of volunteers assist a full time House manager to sustain the House. Families have the privacy of their own bedroom and bath and communal support of dining and recreation facilities.

Our History

Since 1991 the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, MA® has been one of an international network of over 300 Houses that have opened since the first House was established in Philadelphia in 1974. The non-profit corporation, Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, MA® was founded for the sole purpose of building and operating our House. Serving on the Board of Directors are representatives of the Junior League of Springfield, area McDonald’s® owners/operators, medical personnel, concerned parents and community volunteers. Read more...

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board governs Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, Mass and is responsible for policy making, governance, and financial oversight. The Board hires the Executive Director who manages the ongoing operations including staffing, public relations, and fund raising. Read more...
