Pop Tabs

Pop-tab volunteers

A fun and easy way to donate

Collecting pop tabs is one of the most popular ways volunteers, community organizations, and schools contribute to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. It’s fun, easy, and a great way to involve community groups and your family in supporting our Houses without a lot of effort.

All you need to do is remove the pop tab from each can before recycling. Every month, we take a truck load of pop tabs to a local recycling center. The tabs are weighed, and the funds raised from their recycling go right back to our programs and services, supporting families and their children in need of life-saving medical care.

Everyone from students to senior citizens can collect tabs, and many schools, work places, civic clubs, scout troops, and senior citizen centers donate tabs to our Houses. To arrange a drop-off of pop tabs at one of our Houses, please contact our program administrators.
